Preeya Nair is a trained painter as well as a documentary film-maker. She graduated from the Chelsea School of Arts in London and did her Maters in Documentary Film making from National Film and Television Scholl, Beaconsfield. Her recent film about child labour in Hyderabad was nominated for a Bafta award in the UK. The film also received the Human rights award in the Czech republic, the audience prize in Dubai as well as LA.
